Graphic Design
What is it really, this graphic design business? This is what I know of it.
It is an art form where spreading text meets up with margins just right. And paragraphs are stacked like sturdy foundations with white space to open the doors to get in. Where fonts and formality make up the rules, and headlines direct us, leading the way. Where borders of pull quotes are like hedges in gardens, with the beds of flowers being creative type design and perennial style.
It is the concoction of visuals waiting to be noticed while legible fonts make lasting impressions. It takes demonstrated experience and a showcase of skills to translate “blah, blah, blah” into exactly the right stuff.
